History of the school

NG/Al Hilal Central was established before 1920 in Sunnapiti Jumma mosque its call Government Mixed Tamil school. In 1920 it was shifted to current place and name called sunnapiti muslim school. Mr. K.Mariam Pillai was the first Principal of the school the first student was Abusali.

  • In 1961-02-14 name chance as Al-Hilal Mahaviddiyalaya
  • In 1991-05-09 upgrade to as Al-Hilal Central College.

About School

Today NG/Al Hilal Central College is one of the famous All three mediums Tamil schools in Negombo zone, presently administrated by Mr.M S M SAHEER, Mr.M M M KALEEL is the Deputy Principal of the school.  The school has produce many professionals to account sector, Educational sector, Higher education sector, political sector and other government sectors in the country and abroad.
